i was there this weekend.. the beach, the view, the sand? so calming, so scenic, you'll forget how stressfull life is.. what i'm after at is time to relax and experience nature in it's most natural and modest form.. i disagree to anyone who says the staff aren't accommodating or nice.. whatever maybe their negative reactions were, it's just a response to a stimulus, cause and effect.. how can you expect someone to be nice to you if you aren't either? already planning to go back there.. before i would always consider boracay to de-stress but now not anymore..

The site is v nice, the short trek up the new, old, really old versions of the lighthouse. The resort is crowded, under equipped (only 2 restrooms for everyone!), walls unpainted, etc. and while we did not experience any bad service, they seem clumsy and inexperienced. For what we paid for, I'd say it's not worth it. Oh yes, a very loud karaoke machine.

My advise to all new comers and expecting to visit Guisi is 'do not expect too much', plan well of how to relax and enjoy the ambience it can offer. This can only be achieve by not relying too much on the services provided by wherever you are staying. As long as you have been given a comfortable bed (if paid for) have faith on yourself to achieve what you came for. Others are not there to entertain nor provide everything for you. Lat April 14-15 with my husband, we've been there in Guisi. In our case we never experienced any bad treatment in there. In fact there was a guy who offered me a plastic of Indian Mango for free and i'm happy that he did that because i really love to eat indian mango. People there are accommodating and easy to approach. I just don't like the open hole that serves as window in their comfort room. I hope for more improvement of the place. Good Luck!

My team and I stayed in Guisi clearwater resort last week. We were captivated by the beauty of the resort and how clear the water is. We could see how well kept the resort is. We, however, run into a few problems with the service that the staff gave us. We brought food over from Bacolod and the staff prepared it for us for a reasonable fee. Somehow during the preparations they ended up serving only 8 slices instead of the 17 slices of liempo that we asked them to prepare. We had to look for the slices that were mistakenly served to other cottages and some left in the kitchen. The staff also had some problem returning excess food to us.Boating fees are not set. When we arrived on the first day, we immediately asked for the boating fees. The staff offered 350p on the first hour and 150p per additional hour. The following morning the boating fees increased to 500p on the first hour. The following morning we asked for hot water to prepare coffee and instant noodles. They served us with lukewarm water. A teammate had to remind them to reheat the water. Since they didn't accomodate our request, a teammate proceeded to the kitchen to boil the water on her own. She was then reprimanded and asked to leave the kitchen without asking what our teammate needed. We were also told to leave our rooms 30 mins before the check out time. The owner, Josie, was around during our second day at the resort. We were hoping that she would be more accomodating than her staff. She was not any different. She handed back our groceries saying "pang-uli nyo na, budlay na pasibangdan ta na ga pang tago pagkaon!" Let's say there was food mix up...couldn't they even afford to apologize to us? All we heard was raised voices saying they didn't hide any food. Let's say we crossed areas that are off limits.. couldn't they ask us in a nice way to leave and prepare the hot water for us? To Miss Josie..Your staff needs a lot of training. You cater to people from all walks of life. Judging by the guest list that you have that week, you had customers who can afford to stay as long as they want. The place would have been more appreciated had the staff and you been trained in guest relations. In behalf of my team, we hope that people will think twice before they set any reservations with this resort. If you are looking for good service... this is NOT the place for you.

To Angie: I suggest just keep trying,can't really help you more than these two numbers especially living in the other side of the world. Manang Josie will try to get back to you if you text her your dates and yes best to take your favorite foods with you and ask them to cook it (only basic cooking ha, not complicated one's). There is a small shop for drinks, snacks and tin stuffs but not a canteen yet.

Hi nang, I can see you get very busy at times, well done... A very inspiring note to all of your forthcoming guest, GUISI is where you can find peace and relaxation to your heart content. For those seeking noise and colorful lights will be very disappointed but hopefully not regret the experience. A must for all is to try snorkeling, I highly recommend this as a great past time especially as my 3 boys and hubby loves to dive and being left behind to stare the horizon can be very daunting. But do take your own snorkeling gear. Guaranteed it's out of this world experienced..... "Only please stay close to the shore for safety"...
